Hi I’m Kiyoe

also known as Kiki. In 2010, I arrived in Sydney, Australia, leaving my home in Japan with only two English phrases, “Thank you” and “I am sorry,” and very little money. Determined to create a better life for myself, I worked tirelessly, studying English and management while holding down full-time jobs to cover my tuition fees.

My lack of English proficiency made it difficult for me to find a job that paid well, and I often felt miserable and inadequate. I knew I needed to change my life and build my confidence. That’s when I decided to take an Online Eyelash Extensions Certification Training at my lowest point, hoping to turn my life around.

After completing the training course and months of dedicated practice, I started offering eyelash extension services in my room within a shared apartment in the eastern suburb. Eventually, I moved to the northern beaches and continued to make women feel beautiful with my lash skills. I even offered a mobile service, travelling from suburb to suburb across Sydney, meeting wonderful people, and even working with some celebrities.

Not long after, I took the bold step of opening my first KikiLashes shop in Cremorne, Sydney. With two successful years behind us, I went on to open two more KikiLashes stores, one in Willoughby and another in Crows Nest, Sydney. Today, I manage three stores and lead a team of 15 staff members while also serving as the principal lash artist at KikiLashes.

Looking back, I can confidently say that my passion for lashes has never waned; instead, it has grown stronger. From humble beginnings, my dreams have transformed into a reality. It wasn’t an easy journey, but I can assure you that it was absolutely worth it. My next mission is to equip aspiring lash artists with the essential skills and confidence to start their own lash businesses.
