Which LED kit should I choose?
Choose the Essentials Kit if you are already confident with professional LED lash application and only need the complete equipment setup.
Choose the Expert Kit if you also want guided LED training and a certificate of completion.
Can I use my own lash tweezer?
The Lash Plus LED attachment is designed for broad compatibility with professional lash tweezers. Unusually wide, textured or irregularly shaped tweezers may require a fit check.
Do I need the foot control?
No. The LED Tweezer can be activated using its pressure sensor. The foot control provides an alternative hands-free activation option.
Do I need previous lash experience?
The LED system is a professional lash tool and does not replace foundational eyelash extension training. Newer artists should complete appropriate lash education before adding LED application.
LED Device and Curing
How quickly does the adhesive cure?
Cure time depends on the compatible adhesive, light setting, placement and working conditions. Lash Plus LED adhesives generally cure in seconds, with some formulas curing in approximately 0.5–1 second.
Always follow the instructions for the specific adhesive.
How does the pressure sensor work?
The sensor allows you to activate the LED from the tweezer when you are ready to cure. Sensor sensitivity can be adjusted to suit your working pressure.
Which light setting should I use?
The LED Tweezer provides adjustable light settings. Use the setting recommended in your training and user manual, then confirm that your compatible adhesive is curing correctly.
Do not increase exposure unnecessarily.
What should I do if the LED does not activate?
Check the power connection, device connection, pressure-sensor setting and foot-control connection. Restart the system and review the troubleshooting section of the user manual.
If the issue continues, contact us with your order number, device details and a short video showing the problem.
How should I clean the LED Tweezer?
Disconnect the device before cleaning. Do not immerse the electronic components in liquid. Clean and store the system according to the maintenance instructions in the user manual.
LED Adhesives
Can I use a standard lash adhesive?
No. Use an adhesive specifically formulated for compatible LED curing. A standard adhesive may not cure correctly when exposed to the LED.
Which Lash Plus adhesive should I choose?
The best formula depends on your preferred working speed, viscosity, environment and client needs.
Does Lash Plus offer a cyano-free adhesive?
Yes. Lash Plus offers a Cyano Free LED Adhesive for artists seeking an alternative to traditional cyanoacrylate-based formulas.
Cyano-free does not mean reaction-free. Review the ingredients and complete an appropriate client consultation.
Does LED curing prevent adhesive allergies?
No lash adhesive or curing method can guarantee that an allergic reaction will not occur. Client consultation, ingredient awareness, correct technique and local patch-testing requirements still apply.
How should LED adhesive be stored?
Keep the bottle tightly sealed and follow the temperature, humidity, storage and shelf-life instructions supplied with the individual adhesive. Storage requirements may vary by formula.
Training and Safety
Is LED training required?
Professional training is strongly recommended so you understand device operation, adhesive curing, client suitability and safe application. Local insurance or regulatory requirements may also apply.
Has the LED system undergone safety testing?
The Lash Plus LED module has undergone IEC 62471 photobiological safety testing and was classified as Exempt Group, or RG0, at the standard 200 mm laboratory test distance.
Correct use and the user manual remain essential.
Should the client’s eyes remain closed?
Yes. The client’s eyes should remain fully closed throughout the procedure, with suitable under-eye pads or shields positioned correctly. Never direct the LED into an open eye.
What if a client is sensitive to light?
Do not proceed without appropriate professional advice when a client reports photosensitivity, a light-sensitive condition, photosensitizing medication, recent eye surgery or an active eye or skin condition.
